He went on to receive his Medical Degree from Boston University School of Medicine.
Dr. Nguyen then returned to Los Angeles where he completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He subsequently completed his specialty fellowship training in Gastroenterology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. After completing his training, Dr. Nguyen once again returned to Los Angeles to open his practices in Chinatown (Los Angeles) and Temple City.
In his free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashlee. They enjoy cooking, watching movies, and traveling together.
“I believe that gastroenterology, as well as medicine in general, should be practiced with compassion and understanding of each patient’s individual preferences, values, and cultural beliefs. Not every treatment option is right for every patient. Therefore, as physicians, we need to take time to listen to our patients to understand their goals and values. Only then we can be better physicians in providing the most personalized care for our patients.”
